MLS Committee

The Chair of this committee also holds the title of Vice-President, although the position is not automatic step to the position of President-Elect. The MLS Committee consists of a chairperson and at lest six (6) additional individuals representing all of the four (4) local areas (usually 2 from Cambria, 1 from Cayucos, 2 from Los Osos and 2 from Morro Bay) of the Association. It’s the job of the MLS Committee to ensure that the correlation and dissemination of listing information of the Association is effectively and correctly distributed to the membership and that the rules and regulations are adhered to. The Chair or members of the committee are responsible for leading weekly MLS Marketing Meetings. The committee reviews any complaints that may be submitted for violation of any MLS regulation. The MLS Chair participates in the CCRMLS, which meets on a quarterly basis, and reports back to the MLS Committee for recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Committee as a whole, or by appointed individual, is also involved in any changes required in the computer system, the Property Profile Sheets, citation policies, or anything directly or indirectly involving the MLS and its functions. The MLS Committee Chair/Vice-President attends the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors and is entitled to vote.
